new home

i've finally bought a real place to live. after like 3 years of owning one light and moving it from room to room depending on where i want to read or use my laptop, having lights in all rooms is almost magical. oh and not having to use quarters to do laundry... it can't get any better than this!

blargh

devstudio kills me when i edit html. i'll format my html source just perfectly the way i want it then at some point i'll switch to the design tab to preview it and when i switch back devstudio has mangled the file! it will strip extra lines and move my tags around relative to the text they contain. there's no reason for this and it's just cruel and unusual. i'd like to meet the guy responsible for this buggy behavior so i can punch him in the stomach. you know, you'd stop doing stupid careless stuff if someone punched you in the stomach every time!

meetro

check out the beta of meetro. it let's you talk with other people geographically near you instead of just random chuds on the internet. or at least it will once people use it. :)

good stuff

"create" and "destroy" are in alphabetical order. "rain" and "snow" have the same number of letters. "right - left" and "bottom - top" also have the same number of letters. it's things like these that make programmers happy. :)

world of warcraft

after months of letting my world of warcraft box gather dust, i finally installed it. it's a very pretty game, but i'm having a hard time getting into it. i got into lineage 2 for awhile, but that was mostly because i got an adena boost from ige which helped me skip a lot of grind. at one point while playing world of warcraft i was so excited to get an "aspect of monkey" skill that killing the same spiders over and over didn't seem so bad. then i was totally betrayed when i got it and instead of turning me into a monkey like i'd hoped it just increased my chances of evading attack. **yawn**
