4k water

i was very thirsty today so i coded up some water. it requires a video card that supports pixel shaders 2.0 mostly because i'm lazy. thirst will do that to you, you know?

e3 2005

this year's e3 was awesome. the highlights of the show for me were the games the movies, auto assault, spartan total warrior, rise of legends, and the amazing performances of muytator.

4k guts

whipped up a quick test of using tg to make textures in small demos/intros. it's 4kguts.
the tg routines create a diffuse and normal texture that's then applied to an animated plane.

crappy book

my new bathroom book is andrei alexandrescu's modern c++ design. it's fitting because like me when i'm on the can, alexandrescu is full of crap.
